			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://www.casenex.com">CaseNEX, LLC, </a>is a spin-off company from the University of Virginia’s Curry  School of Education that was established in Fall 2001.  CaseNEX finds its roots  in a university research project that started in 1996.  A series of grants from federal and private sources and  in-kind funding, and early support from the Darden Business School’s  (UVA) business incubator program, allowed the founding team of researchers to develop  the company’s research-based methodologies, to test its cutting edge content and training model, and to establish a foundational library of course materials.</p>

Reed developed 		      her classroom and central office experience in Fairfax County Virginia 		      where she was an Instructional Technology Specialist in the Department 		      of Instruction for 6 years and she was a High School teacher for 		      19 years.  From 1999 thru 2001, she was loaned to the U. S. Department 		      of Education as 		      the Technology Teacher in Residence in the Office of Education 		      Technology.  Dr. Reed holds a Ph.D. in Education Evaluation from 		      the University of 		      Virginia. Her dissertation is entitled. <em>&#8220;Systemic Technology 		      Infusion: Effects on Teachers and Students.&#8221;</em></p>
