Designed and served as coordinator of the Secretary’s National Conference on Education Technology. 42 schools/districts from across the country attended along with noted researchers in the field of educational evaluation. Conference follow-up includes a major summary paper, CD and website to continue to influence the field in the area of technology evaluation.

Regional Technology Evaluation Conferences.  Designed and implemented four regional conferences for states and school districts to develop capacity in evaluation of the effectiveness of technology in K - 12 education. Conferences sponsored in conjunction with the North Central Regional Education Lab. Conference to be held in Chicago, Denver and Atlanta.

Designed and implemented the Secretary's National Conference on Education Technology: Measuring the Impacts and Shaping the Future. September 11 and 12, 2000 in Alexandria, Virginia.

The FCPS Education Foundation has secured funding from several major corporations: HP, Dell, Compaq, Cisco, ISmart, CMS, and Microsoft.
